One of the most athletically-gifted prospects in the class, I wouldn’t knock you too much if you weren’t familiar with Yellow Jackets football, but turning on his tape showcases a player that could become one of the class’ most dominant athletes in just a few years’ time. It’s an evaluator’s paradise in Mobile, and for White, standing out against some of the top offensive linemen in this year’s class rids any concerns teams may have about his production against weaker ACC competition. In a neutral environment that fuels one-on-one competition, his ability to transfer speed to power, latch and drive, and disengage from opposing blockers remains second to none in the class. It’s innate and in his DNA.
A transfer from Old Dominion, while his 2021 campaign ended prematurely, his 2022 tape was some of the more enjoyable All-22 of any prospect in the class. It didn’t matter if he was bending the edge, clogging gaps in the run, or chasing running backs on wheel routes out of the backfield, it wasn’t hard to spot No. 8 on film—and it was even harder taking your eyes off.
