Five months ago, Isiah Pacheco was an unheralded seventh-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Rutgers, a running back born in New Jersey who played his college football in the state. He was the 251st overall selection, 11 picks before the final pick of the draft.
It all started for Pacheco in Glendale at State Farm Stadium, where he rushed for 62 yards on 12 carries and scored his first career NFL touchdown in the Chief's 44-21 win over the Arizona Cardinals in the regular season opener on September 11.
