Charles Pannell and Wolfram Verlaan discuss their concerns about the city of Huntsville’s greenway network with Land Trust of North Alabama Executive Director Marie Bostick and Jo Beth Gleason of the city’s Urban and Long Range Planning Department. Vivian Nguyn is a Huntsville resident who prefers to get around to other parts of the city on her bike.
Nguyn hopes that will change. She isn’t alone. Several of the city’s residents let it be known they’d like Huntsville to expand its greenways during a couple of community forums last week.
