The number of ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab remained unchanged on Wednesday compared to the previous day, according to a report by the shipping tracking company Kpler. Only eight ships passed through the Strait of Hormuz, including five oil tankers and three cargo ships. The number of ships entering and leaving the Strait of Hormuz was the same as the previous day. The number of ships passing through Bab al-Mandab remained unchanged at twenty, with ten entering and ten leaving. The usual daily number of ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab before the US-Iran tensions escalated was around 130 to 140 ships.

همچنین، در تنگه هرمز، تردد کشتیرانی به دلیل ازسرگیری درگیریهای آمریکا و ایران متوقف شد. طبق گزارش رویترز، بخش عمده کشتیرانی در تنگه هرمز، به رغم وعده امنیتی آمریکا، متوقف شده است
